Best Overall Pram
Silver Cross Wayfarer Complete 2-in-1 Pram System
What we like: The same classic design and build quality that you would expect from the name Silver Cross. Whilst not cheap we like that this pram can be used from birth until your toddler is walking independently. The carry cot provides a completely flat surface and can also be used as an overnight bed when away. The frame folds away when not in use and can be upgraded to a travel system with the addition of the Simplicity Car Seat. Rain cover included.
Best Pram On a Budget
Maxi-Cosi Zelia Baby Pushchair
What we like: Coming in at around half the price of the Silver Cross we love that this pram is still packed with quality and features. The carry cot lies-flat to make it useable from birth and i t coverts to a lightweight city stroller that will grow with you until baby is approx 3.5 years old. Compatible with any maxi-cosi car seat to turn the pram into a travel system. Comes with a rain cover and parasol clip.
Best Modular Pram
What we like: The Bugaboo is a fully modular system meaning that you but only the parts that you need. It is a breeze to transform from the carry out for newborns to t a stroller. It is a hit with mums for the attention to detail, little things like a brake that can still be operated when wearing flip-flops.and the all terrain wheels that make it so easy to push. Keep in mind that the link above only buys the frame – you then accessorise with what you need and it can get pricey.
Best Compact Lightweight Pram
What we like: This is the most compact and lightweight pram in our selection. In fact the chassis folds so flat that it can be stowed as hand-luggage on a flight )check with airline first). Easy to fold it can be used form birth with the addition of the newborn pack. Also available in peppermint, ginger, red and white
Best Budget Travel System
What we like: Woozers a complete travel system priced for less than some of the prams featured here. This complete package includes: SnugEssentials i-Size infant car seat, zip-on apron, raincover and Graco evo basic carrycot. We love the lockable swivel wheels and one-hand fold mechanism.
Most Stylish Travel System
Cosatto Giggle Mix Pram Set (4pcs) – Travel System
What we like: No list would be complete without the addition of a stylish Cossato travel system. This value for money travel system is suitable for use form birth and includes a Baby Car Seat, ISOFIX Base, Adapters and Footmuff (Nordik). The isofix base is a great addition to secure the car seat quickly and safely in most modern vehicles. If the Giggle Mix is not the design for you then check out these other great designs:
Best Pram for Joggers
Baby Jogger Summit X3 All-Terrain Pushchair
What we like: Here is an admission – we never jogged with our baby. If we had then we would have appreciated the air-filled rubber tyres and all-wheel suspension on this jogger. Other hand features include a remote wheel lock on the handlebar that lets you switch between swivel mode and a locked position for the front wheel and hand-operated deceleration drum brakes for hilly and uneven surfaces. As sold, this one is suitable from 6 months or you can add a car seat to stroll with your newborn – adapters and car seat sold separately.
